About this artwork
Hourglass 01 is inspired by the sweetness of waiting.
In August 2025, I gave birth to my daughter, and in the months before meeting her, I spent countless hours with nothing but a knife and sheets of paper. Cutting, shaping, passing time.
Those quiet hours opened a space for reflection - a slow drift of thoughts, hopes, and anticipation. Out of that waiting, the work began to take shape.
