About this artwork
"Layers" is created from leftover paper from other projects.
The texture of the paper and the torn strips give the piece a rawness and a vulnerability at the same time.
This work invites very different interpretations:
a woman’s body,
a cloud heavy with rain,
or something broken that could never quite be fixed again.
To me, it feels like something both assembled and undone - a fragile memory held together by its own edges.
