About this artwork
After a long and cold winter in Germany, the sun finally started to shine on the small town of Meersburg. The people were eager to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather, and the trees and flowers were no exception. As the snow melted away, the first signs of new life began to emerge. The trees, which had been barren for months, began to sprout small green leaves. And the flowers, which had been buried under a blanket of snow, were finally able… to push their way up through the ground. One particularly vibrant tree at the lake waited to show his blossoms in a small park that was known for its beauty. For months the tree was sleeping in his winter beauty outfit. But now, it was starting to come alive. First, a few small buds appeared. Then, over the course of a few days, those buds began to bloom into the most magnificent display of colors the town had ever seen. The flowers seemed to dance in the breeze, their petals reaching out to soak up the sunshine. This artwork is framed.
