Switching from day to day.A window brings warm light inside but also sound, the atmosphere being created at any stage of the day. A completely different atmosphere every time. That's why black and white.
The passage of time is often hard to accept for each. At other times the change was made more difficult, a difficult process. Today, time is constantly challenging, to the point of extinction, to respect our habit and formal living. I think and go… away from everyday things. And the moment of silence...come!The pictorial intention follows a bridge between the physical and real aspect of metamorphosis of the landscape and that of the painting. In light or shade, in the harsh spring day or in the gray winter weather, stone, metal, wood or plastic are full of colors and structures. I ignore the accuracy of the outlines of the materials in some places, especially in the background of the captured image.

Ana Asavei Pietraru is a passionate Romanian artist whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications nationally. Largely inspired by the imagery that surrounds her in everyday life, she takes mental snapshots of various observations and transfers them onto her canvases. For Ana, even something as apparently mundane as an interesting chair sparks creative inspiration, and she undertakes a gestural approach to bring such subjects to life with vibrancy and texture.
