My palette swirled with acrylics, spray, and pigments, accented by authentic sand textures, encapsulated in glistening resin. Ana Hefco is a U.S.-based artist whose work is held in private collections in over 30 countries. Her paintings have been presented in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Drawing inspiration from the ocean, Hefco investigates themes of fluidity, depth, and transparency through a materially driven practice. She works with gesso, resin, and pigments on wood, employing both hand-applied techniques and controlled heat processes to produce layered surfaces that evoke movement, light, and spatial complexity.
