About this artwork
This series is dedicated to Biodiversity. Inspired by the plants and insects I found in my vegetable garden throughout the year, it's both a meditative exploration of my natural surroundings and a call to look closer at the rest of Nature, of which we are part.
I like to call it pastel painting, rather than drawing, and this work is made with high quality pastels on fine Hahnemuhle Velour pastel paper, giving it the soft texture of velvet.
I have… it unframed at the moment, as it is a recent painting and will carefully pack it so you receive it in perfect conditions and can choose your favorite frame yourself.
