About this artwork
I painted the picture in my Ibiza time. I myself used to go to bars and clubs in the past. Bars and clubs shape the image of the island of Ibiza and offer themselves to the painter as a subject. The picture shows the inside of one of the island's typical bars. It is an enigmatic picture, it shows the people at the bar, the light reflections on the back wall in an abstract painting style.
A dark figure is a little scary in the picture, a red veiled… figure is in the foreground.
