About this artwork
An abstract oil painting by the German painter Anando Arnold. A variation of different blue and turquoise tones makes it come alive and make it shine. An airy freshness emanates from this picture, evokes associations with quiet hours by the water, warm summer evenings - but also with the unfathomable depths of the ocean, only illuminated by sunlight on the surface, the depth sinks into darkness. In several layers, oil paints were layered on top of… one another with various spatulas and squeegees, creating a lively, at the same time complex picture surface. The peaceful, cheerful atmosphere invites the viewer to linger.
The picture, original and unique, is painted on canvas. The edges are painted, so a frame is not required. The picture is signed on the back.
The picture was covered with a varnish to protect it from sunlight and dust.
The work can be hung on the wall immediately.
« When the mind is still, the creative power flows; a work of art emerges from the grace of the moment. »
Anando Arnold is an experienced German artist who has exhibited his work in Germany, Spain and India since the 1990s. Firmly believing that less is more, he composes paintings centred on the restriction to seemingly simple forms and rhythms, producing expressive images that invite you to look, without feeling obtrusive.
