About this artwork
In this abstract painting, the German painter Anando Arnold explores the subtle tension between calm and movement, lightness and stability. Associations with cheerful, warm spring days are awakened. In the foreground three shapes in pink and blackberry - three transparent towers, twisted, stand in front of a distant abstract city landscape.
A multitude of interesting details and structures invite the viewer to engage more and more with this abstract… work, to find their own associations and interpretations. The colored areas overlap, cross each other and create a cheerful, lively atmosphere. Strong, warm yellow-orange, red is balanced by calm, cool blue, light green carried by calm white.
This work, original and unique, "Zen 2115 - three towers", was painted on canvas with fine artist oil paints. The canvas is stretched on a sturdy stretcher frame, the edges are painted.
« When the mind is still, the creative power flows; a work of art emerges from the grace of the moment. »
Anando Arnold is an experienced German artist who has exhibited his work in Germany, Spain and India since the 1990s. Firmly believing that less is more, he composes paintings centred on the restriction to seemingly simple forms and rhythms, producing expressive images that invite you to look, without feeling obtrusive.
