This work is born from an explosion of emotions, combining expressionism with impressionist delicacy. I used acrylics and gold to create a vibrant contrast, capturing the light that seems to graze without touching. I wanted to convey the ephemeral and magical energy of a sunset in a secret garden, filling the space with intense life and hope. Venice reveals itself in… a suspended moment, where light caresses without contact—like a breath held above the water. The canals reflect an intangible, almost dreamlike glow that wraps the city in a veil of mystery and melancholy. The façades, bathed in golden and bluish tones, seem to float between the real and the imagined. It is a Venice contemplated from the distance of the soul, where light does not touch, but transforms.

Andrés Rueda is a Spanish-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, the Netherlands, France, and China. Considering himself a descendant of French Impressionism, his works are vibrant and expressive. Born in Spain in 1956, he feels like a citizen of the world. He is a prominent Neo-Impressionist painter. From an early age, he felt a deep attraction to painting and, as a street artist, worked his way up to exhibiting in internationally renowned galleries. Some of these galleries include those in Barcelona, California, the Netherlands, Madrid, China, Paris, and Castellón. His work is held in collections in Spain, Germany, Argentina, France, Luxembourg, China, the USA, and London, among major art collectors.
His works are included in several bibliographies from different countries and in the press since the 1970s. He has had nearly 100 national and international exhibitions.
