In Mulini a vento, Andrea Benetti orchestrates a dynamic and layered composition, in which archaic symbols and evocative geometries meet in a dialogue between energy and memory. The work is structured around three central radial elements, similar to flowers or rotors, from which lines of force branch out and cross the space, generating a continuous visual tension. The plaster background modeled in bas-relief gives material thickness to the surface,… while the use of oil, acrylic and cocoa enriches the palette with warm and natural colors. The symmetrical arrangement and the graphic rhythm recall the idea of cyclical movement and the connection between microcosm and macrocosm. Andrea Benetti is the author of the Manifesto of Neo-Rock Art, presented at the 53rd Venice Biennale. His works have been acquired by international art collections and museums (United Nations, Vatican, Quirinale, Chamber of Deputies, etc.). Several universities have conducted graduate research on his art. He has collaborated with many universities to organize exhibitions and seminars on Neo-Rock Painting (Universities of Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Ferrara, Johns Hopkins University, Lecce, Messina, Roma Tre, and Venice). In 2020, he won the "Nettuno d'Oro" Award from the city of Bologna. His biography appears in major encyclopedias, including Treccani, De Agostini, and WikiArt, and is translated into 45 languages on Wikipedia.
