About this artwork
"Shadow Face" is one of my charcoal drawings, I like to feel the sensation of the charcoal being consumed on the paper, I love the falling black powder and the hands that immediately turn black turning into an incredible drawing tool.
This design was born like this, after letting myself go completely immersed in my thoughts, my hand and mind joined forces and this face full of sensations I was experiencing appeared in front of me.

Andrea Berni is an Italian sculptor whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, in Lithuania, France, and Norway. He is fascinated by the factors that motivate human behavior as well as our relationships with society and nature. Berni describes his expressive figurative compositions as being linked to a "free interpretation and idealization of nature". Creating in series, his pieces are made of marble, terracotta, and clay.
