About this artwork
My artwork fuses the passion of Fauvism colors with the depth of oriental symbolism. I used acrylic, oil and pastel to depict the majestic presence and spiritual aura of the bull, a figure revered in many cultures as a symbol of strength and fertility. The shining sun on the bull's head suggests renewal and the eternal cycle of life. This image brings a powerful, earthy energy to any home, encouraging us to recognize and embrace our own power.
My art combines nature and culture - it raises awareness of what surrounds us and inspires us to take responsibility - for landscapes, history and the heritage of humanity. I have dedicated myself to free painting, creating colorful images between abstraction and object.
I also work with printmaking, such as etchings (aquatint) and monotypes. When it comes to copperplate prints, I like to focus on antique or historical motifs and themes, which I project into the present. In painting, I prefer an abstract style, including in landscape and nature pictures. Some motifs are only reproduced in coded form, so the viewer has the opportunity to interpret them for themselves. Many of my pictures have already been shown in exhibitions, some in juried art exhibitions for which art catalogues have been published.
