About this artwork
In creating this piece, I was inspired by the simplicity and energy of minimalism fused with the vibrant attitude of pop art. The acrylic lines pulsate with life, hinting at abstract narratives and geometric precision. Every stroke is charged with a clarity that speaks to the essence of expression—less is more. It's not just a painting; it's a rhythmic visual beat that will infuse any space with dynamic harmony and a bold, modern spirit.
« Art, for me, is a context to slow the viewer’s experience from their everyday life in order to think about things they have never thought about. »
Andrea Pallang is a painter, photographer, and sculptor based in Slovakia whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Serbia. Her minimalistic, geometric, and textural works explore the concepts of time and traces. Pallang employs a non-objective reduction artistic method. The horizontal nature of her compositions symbolizes how we want to view the world and the creation of a sense of order.
