In September 2017, I actually had a completely unexpected 30-minute clear view of Mount Fuji from the fishing and seaside resort of Zushi – a very, very rare occurrence. I held two to four filters in front of my telephoto zoom lens and took a whole series of photos. The scenery changed roughly every three seconds: clouds, the angle of the light, the onset of dusk, etc. The resulting images are truly unique!
Like all my photographs, I offer printing… on PhotoRag fine art paper – this paper boasts brilliant colors, is museum-quality, and, according to the manufacturer, lightfast for up to 100 years. This image is also perfectly suited for Ilford Washi paper. While the colors aren't quite as vibrant as on PhotoRag, each sheet is handmade and therefore unique!
Andreas Bromba, a photographer since the age of 16, uses both analogue techniques and digital processes in his work. He likes to spin his creations in series, sometimes using a minimalist aesthetic, other times with echoes of Yves Klein's striking blue. Andreas Bromba's photos are sharp, but with a certain tenderness, and explore the inscrutability of life, our everyday struggles and the connection between humanity.
