“Powercluster” develops from a luminous concentration in the center of the image, where orange, blue, green, and deep reds converge. The colors appear to spread, intertwine, and set the entire pictorial space in motion.
Lines, splashes of color, and open-ended structures emerge and dissolve again within the multifaceted framework. The title acts as a key to understanding the work: a center of energy, density, and shifting impulses.
The surface… was created over a long period of time in numerous layers using troweling, pouring, and casting techniques. This gives the image a complex sense of depth, revealing new relationships depending on the viewing distance.
