About this artwork
In this artwork I have created a world full of dynamism and energy. Using acrylic paints, I develop an abstract play of shapes and shades, with different shades of green merging with lively yellow accents. My goal was to capture the power and vitality of nature to enliven a space and inspire the viewer. It is intended to bring a fresh, invigorating atmosphere to every home.

« Art that fascinates me is often like a symbiosis of philosophical magic and good craft. »
Andreas Garbe represents contemporary painting of exceptional breadth. His internationally exhibited works are found in private collections worldwide and enjoy great demand – a growing success also documented by price developments: within the past ten years, the prices of his works have tripled.
Garbe moves with ease between figuration and abstraction: landscape, the human figure, literature, and social observation converge with a second, radically free side to his work. He signs particularly intuitive and abstract pieces as Julio Fernandez – an independent artistic identity under which color, movement, and spontaneous impulse determine the creative process.
Using acrylic, oil and resin on canvas, Garbe develops a distinctive oeuvre that lies between Big History, philosophy and society on the one hand and absolute painterly freedom on the other.
