About this artwork
The painting “Angel" created in 2024 at the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden in Kyiv, portrays a vibrant spring lilac garden. White, pink, and blue lilacs form a lush composition, with a path inviting viewers deeper into the blossoming scene. Bright green and yellow grass enhances the freshness of spring. A small girl in a white dress strolls through the lilacs, embodying innocence and purity. Soft light filters through, creating a magical… atmosphere that celebrates the harmony and awakening of nature.

For this painting, I was inspired by the artistic techniques of European masters such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georges-Pierre Seurat, Édouard Manet, and Paul Gauguin. Impressionism holds a special place in my heart and serves as a constant source of inspiration. In my work, I often experiment and create paintings in the style of Pointillism.
« There is a logic of color, and it is it alone, and not the logic of reason, that the artist should follow. »
