About this artwork
The painting “At a walk” created in 2024 at Kyiv’s M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, depicts a serene lilac garden in full bloom. Vibrant pink and white lilac bushes frame the scene, with the Vydubychi Monastery, Dnipro River, and Kyiv’s Left Bank adding depth in the background. Women strolling across lush green and yellow grass evoke a tranquil, springtime atmosphere. Soft clouds in the sky enhance the sense of calm, while the delicate color… palette highlights nature's renewal and harmony.

For this painting, I was inspired by the artistic techniques of European masters such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georges-Pierre Seurat, Édouard Manet, and Paul Gauguin. Impressionism holds a special place in my heart and serves as a constant source of inspiration. In my work, I often experiment and create paintings in the style of Pointillism.
« There is a logic of color, and it is it alone, and not the logic of reason, that the artist should follow. »
