About this artwork
This work had been visualized by the artist even before starting it. The texture was inspired by mountains and nature, so she wanted to keep the main theme around those elements. But the artist wanted to add a fun, naive and colorful touch.
The title is inspired by the sky which is reminiscent of the colors and texture of cotton candy.
The work was made over a 2020 work called "Love at first sight" which was entirely pink and which the artist… did not exhibit, because something did not please him. So it was in early 2022 that she had a visualization of what she would like to have there instead.
