Anette Thorup Hansen, a self-taught painter since youth, creates and experiments with devoted practice and a deep connection to nature.
She blends impressionism, figurative abstractions, and naturalism, using atmospheric choices and expressive color to portray her many moods.
Her landscapes, both utopian and fantastical, invite viewers to dream themselves into mostly untouched realms, conveying calmness, inspiration, and a profound emotional resonance.
Anette exhibits regularly in all regions of Denmark, and has her own ATH Gallery, next to her atelier, where visitors are welcome to peruse her various works in oil, acrylics, ink, and watercolor.
