About this artwork
This sculpture is included in a mental process of capturing the "balance". The visual result that is presented is one of the intermediate steps between the conceptual idea and the almost impossible translation of the idea-sensation-inspiration. After many drawings, sketches and material essays, this work has opted for a half-animal, half-human figure. A figure cut and supported at shoulder height in a timeless, classic Mediterranean pose.
