About this artwork
Sculpture made of a single piece of elm wood embedded in a double base of red and brown marble.
The title "VULCANO" was defining from the conceptual beginning of the work.
An attempt is made to find a powerful image that challenges the viewer.
The image is placed face to face, emanating an energy that at first is not understood, it seems external, it scares...
but then it is accepted as human and own energy.
