About this artwork
of water and Hawaiian sea salt outside by the water in the wind and sun. Since I spend so much time in the hawaiian ocean and rainforest, the shapes and creatures that emerge feel like messengers from a mystical realm.
Some appear shy, while others are playful and fully in the light.
For me, light is the key. Even when a piece grows darker or cooler,… the process is always about finding the
luminous areas. Through layering and patience, the work becomes saturated with care, depth, and a love
for detail.
