Anika Kuntze is a Berlin-trained visual artist, painter, and photographer whose background in Communication, Arts, and Culture Studies deeply informs her creative practice. She now lives and works in Hawaii. By utilizing process-driven and meditative techniques inspired by early surrealism and the islands nature she constructs dense microstructures that dissolve into expansive compositions, exploring “in-between spaces” that invite viewers to reflect on identity and perception. Her artworks evoke a sense of wonder, introspection, and psychological resonance, drawing the viewer into the mysteries of transformation and belonging.
