About this artwork
Created through layered acrylic and intuitive mark-making, the painting evolved organically as color, texture, and gesture began interacting across the surface. I am deeply drawn to the peony because it symbolizes both softness and strength — qualities that often coexist within our human experience. In this work, the bloom becomes larger than life, almost immersive, inviting the viewer into its movement and atmosphere.
Much of my work explores what… cannot always be easily spoken: memory, feeling, resilience, vulnerability, and quiet transformation. Through layered textures, expressive brushwork, and atmospheric color, I hope to create paintings that allow viewers to pause, reflect, and form their own emotional connection.
