Anja Hagemann is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium and Italy. She describes her "pictorial quest" as being inextricably linked to martial arts, which she has been practicing for the past eight years. Through her works, Hagemann endeavors to find a balance between "letting go" and the precision of the gesture. Her abstract expressionist pieces are created using acrylics, watercolors, and collage on canvas.
