Ann constantly sees and appreciates the sensuous beauty of nature. This, as well as her endless love for flowers, is apparent in Beauteous Bloom’s lovingly portrayed layers, folds, curves, shadows and depth. Ann Bubis, a painter and sculptor from the United Kingdom, has exhibited in Germany, Czechia, the United States and the U.K. As an intuitive artist, her abstract and realistic pieces are a response to global issues concerning the environment and ‘throw-away society’, as well as ancestral history, to name a few. Bubis works comprise varying styles and media, with her current focus on framed mosaics and sculptures which she calls ‘juxtapositions’.
