I created “Evening Glow Over Hochschwab” during a period when I needed quiet, and this mountain became my way of painting that feeling into the world. The softened contours and warm afterglow are not just about a specific place, but about the small, hard-won moments of peace we manage to claim. For me, this painting acknowledges that even when life feels noisy and uncertain, there is an evening light somewhere, still wrapping the day in gentleness.
