About this artwork
This is one of the works that I personally don't like quite as much. Nevertheless, it has already been exhibited and has been surprisingly well-received by the public. Therefore, I try not to take this aspect of my artistic side too personally and instead identify with the playful process that was at the forefront of its creation. This work is part of my first pouring series on stretcher bars from 2022.
Anna Frieda Kuzaj, aka ateliercollide, uses a variety of media, including painting, photography, drawing, and digital art, influenced by her artistic career, which has extended all the way to Hamburg. She experiments with acrylic pouring, realistic sketches, and impulsive expressionism, with her works oscillating between abstract, colorful experiments and realistic detail work. Through intuitive processes and meditative work, she aims to convey the courage to embrace mistakes, creativity, and self-discovery—her art is vibrant and inspires playful self-acceptance.
