About this artwork
A painting from the Eye of God series, "How everything grows beautifully", is an oil painting on canvas in the format 80 cm x 80 cm. I painted it on the terrace of the house where I lived at the time and left it to dry in the sun. The birds and insects watched it with great interest.
When I painted this picture, there was a pandemic going on. I had quite a lot of time to myself and often went for walks in the nearby fields, forests and pastures.… Watching the plants develop and grow inspired me to create this painting.
Anna Rona lives in Germany but was born and raised in Poland. Rooted in the tradition of historical painting, she explores the beauty of flora and fauna using oil, watercolor, and gouache on canvas, paper, and wood. She combines surrealist, abstract, and realistic elements with a penchant for vibrant colors and complex patterns and textures. Her works are expressive and spirited, inviting us into a chaotic, dreamlike world full of splendor and diverse natural wonders.
