About this artwork
The work shows white hydrangeas, which I painted in the evening in the garden in plein air from nature.Painting done in mixed technique in gouache, charcoal and pastel on paper. It is one of a series of paintings on the theme of hydrangeas. When painting this picture I was inspired by the evening light in the garden and tried to reflect it in the picture. The painting was exhibited in 2018 in Italy at the Chianciano Biennale at the Museo Chianciano…
