About this artwork
The work is executed in oil on canvas 60 cm by 80 cm, framed. Painted from life The strength of Anna Trigub's portfolio lies in her ability to convey the natural vibrancy and delicate nuances of floral subjects with both intensity and subtlety. Taking 'Roses in the sun' as an example, the artwork stands out for its harmonious colour palette, where shades of pink and green interact fluidly, creating a lush and inviting scene. Trigub's brushwork is…
both confident and expressive, capturing the softness of the petals while maintaining a sense of movement and liveliness. This piece exemplifies her skill in balancing detail with abstraction, allowing viewers to appreciate both the individual flowers and the composition as a whole. Her talent for evoking the essence of nature through dynamic shapes and textures is what makes her portfolio truly compelling.

Russia
I am a professional artist educated at Moscow’s Surikov Academy, where my diploma painting, Tsiolkovsky, received high praise.
My artistic vision was shaped by remarkable teachers and the tradition of the Soviet Severe Style, passed down through Rustam Akhmedov and Pavel Nikonov. This tradition, rooted in the work of great masters, remains central to my practice.
Following my teacher’s strict recommendation, I have always painted exclusively from life. I follow the traditional process: first a small sketch, then a full-size charcoal drawing. Tsiolkovsky took almost two years to complete.
I won first place at the London Art Biennale in 2017 and the Chianchiano Biennale in 2018. My exhibitions include Bruges, Belgium (2014), Gagliardi Gallery, London (2018), and more than 15 exhibitions in Moscow.
I consider my work a continuation of a great artistic tradition, and I sincerely hope to become a worthy successor to these masters.
