Annabel Merrett is a London-based sculptor working primarily in clay, with a later-in-life embrace of art rooted in personal recovery and formal training. She employs life-sized clay heads with revealing cross-sections, blending clean lines and mixed media to explore the intersection of mental health, neuroscience, and gender. Her artworks evoke a sense of empathy and reassurance, offering tender insight into the complexities of the human mind and breaking the stigma around difficult emotions.
