« Each of my paintings bears witness to the moment when the unexpected beauty of light transforms a landscape and calls me to contemplate it. »
Anne Baudequin, a French landscape painter, inherited the inspiration of the 19th-century masters. Her work, born from outdoor observation, celebrates the poetry of simple subjects: paths, rivers, clouds over mountains...

She paints in oils alla prima, capturing light and atmosphere with vivid and spontaneous strokes, bringing her paintings to life.

Based in Auvergne, her studio overlooks the Loire Gorges, a volcanic landscape that she explores in all seasons.

The sea, another source of inspiration, nourishes her work, revealing the sublime in the ordinary. Her art goes beyond representation: an ode to nature, eternally renewed.
