About this artwork
Near its source, before becoming the majestic river lined with the most beautiful castles in France, the Loire is a river that carves its bed through volcanic mountains, forming wild gorges.
Here, she magnifies the rock through a fascinating double play. She offers it a dark and deep mirror where the raw mass of the stone comes to contemplate itself, doubling its power and its silence.
The water also acts as a prism.… Transparent, it not only reveals the bottom, but also the secret shimmer of the rock. The submerged pebbles come alive with warm and vibrant colors.
Thus, the river enhances the rock: it anchors its solidity in an imperturbable reflection while adorning it with a shimmering and ephemeral life. It renders it both monumental and precious.
The white finish on the sides of the canvas allows for frameless hanging if desired.

« Each of my paintings bears witness to the moment when the unexpected beauty of light transforms a landscape and calls me to contemplate it. »
She paints in oils alla prima, capturing light and atmosphere with vivid and spontaneous strokes, bringing her paintings to life.
Based in Auvergne, her studio overlooks the Loire Gorges, a volcanic landscape that she explores in all seasons.
The sea, another source of inspiration, nourishes her work, revealing the sublime in the ordinary. Her art goes beyond representation: an ode to nature, eternally renewed.
