Auvergne landscape.
View of my workshop on the Monts du Velay, Auvergne.
Speed is essential in my work. My works are painted "alla prima", the time of a single work session allowing me to capture the transient effects of light. The speed of execution gives spontaneity, vivacity to my touch.
I prepare my paintings myself in order to obtain the specific texture I need to paint and also to ensure a better longevity.
A simple, dark brown,… painted wood wand hides the sides of the canvas.
