About this artwork
is a work I painted in oils as a tribute to resilience. The horse, the central figure, embodies for me inner power, nobility, and courage in the face of obstacles. Its gaze, intense and adorned with patterns, reflects lucidity and determination.
The tiles that make up the background are fragments of life, of trials experienced, of colorful or dark moments. Some bear hearts, like bursts of love or tenderness that emerge even in difficult times.… I wanted each square to be an emotion, a milestone, a scar, or a victory.
The style is deliberately abstract and vibrant: I play with contrasts, geometric shapes, and warm colors to convey the complexity of the inner journey. It is a work that speaks of strength, but also of assumed vulnerability—the kind that makes us profoundly human.
