About this artwork
This is the memory of a great evening with a wonderful encounter and the picture captures what remains of it.... a plethora of red roses in different colors.
Many shades of red, turquoise, green, pink, orange... all used impasto or transparent, in layers on a light multicolored background. A bit impressionism, but expressive. A fun painting to match my other rose paintings.

Anne Samson is a passionate German painter who has exhibited her works nationally. Always motivated to create aesthetic tensions, she uses colour and structure to provoke emotions, viewer intrigue and a sense of joy. To achieve this, she oscillates between the abstract and the figurative, using a range of materials including quartz sand, marble flour, ink, oil, and chalk alongside an acrylic base.
