About this artwork
In the age of globalization, data flows around the world are incessant. The colored lines symbolize these streams. The rigid surfaces stand for the cold technology or for the old data carrier paper. This is only a suggestion for interpretation, which is not binding.
For optimal framing, the frame should have the size of the sheet and the motif should be placed in a mat, the cutout of which is approx. 1 - 2 cm larger than the motif.

« I experience the greatest surprises during my artistic work! »
Annette Mewes-Thoms, a German painter and draftsman, has exhibited her works nationally, as well as in France, Portugal, Switzerland, the United States, Singapore, Italy and Spain. Through her previous explorations in representing the essence of water without depicting it, her artistic journey has led her away from painting towards drawing. Mewes-Thoms' current artworks focus on the line, which she layers and condenses.
