YESS was inspired by the work of Popart icon Peter Blake and by one the artist's favorite movies 'Yes Man'. This feisty portrait champions an optimistic attitude towards life, urging one to look at the world with kindness and idealism. The rose sunglasses represent that positive filter, which enables one to overcome fear and withhold negative judgment. Yes Man in the movie leaves depression… and grief behind by saying yes to any experience and by embracing every opportunity to grow. The lady winking reminds us to keep a playful outlook on life as it unfolds, accepting its twists and turns, choosing grace and joy no matter what gets thrown at you. Her scarf and flying hair celebrate the heroins of early movies, like Grace Kelly, feeling free and careless on a road trip.
