About this artwork
I really liked the motif of the Small Islands. For this reason, I decided to create a series of paintings based on them: the four Small Islands seasons.
In my painting "Small Islands - Spring," you can see two islands in shimmering greenish-blue water. On the horizon, the spring-green shore of the lake. In this painting, I focused my gaze closer to the islands than in the first one, so the details are more visible.
The modern magenta-colored… planter on the left artificial island is striking. It houses a blooming almond tree with impressive blossoms. On the second island, there are bright magenta garden chairs that invite you to sit and enjoy the view of the lake and the almond tree.
