A summer afternoon, the sun is shining pleasantly warm and a light breeze is blowing. The clear water is in front of us. There is nothing to do on this day, you can just relax. A rare and precious moment.
A lush green meadow lies by a body of water. It is up to the viewer's imagination whether it is a lake or a river. On the bank stands a shady tree, to whose branches a hammock is attached with a rope, inviting you to lie… down and rest. The other side of the hammock is anchored outside the scene, invisible to the viewer, perhaps in reality to a second tree, perhaps imaginarily in the clouds above the body of water - wherever the dreams take the hammock user on this sunny day.

Antje Wanderer-Oberhaus, a former industrial engineer, is a painting artist who works with acrylics, sand and occasionally neon colors.
