About this artwork
Using charcoal, I have created flowing, vibrant lines that balance between abstraction and figuration. My sketch captures the intimacy and fragility of human connection without revealing too much. It is an expression of connection and movement that touches the viewer.
Anton Amort works primarily as a sculptor and painter, drawing on years of training in his family's metalworking business. He creates abstract metal sculptures, combining steel with stone or glass mosaic, utilizing high-quality craftsmanship, and consciously playing with surface textures, light effects, and natural elements. His art is characterized by dynamism, tension, and a keen sense of material and proportion. In his paintings, he uses acrylics, charcoal, and mixed media on canvas, aluminum panels, or paper. His works convey joy, invite contemplation, and lend spaces and locations individuality and a special emotional depth.
