About this artwork
In this work, I captured the hidden aesthetics of the everyday. The covered cars, one with a striped cloth, speak of a silent narrative of protection and mystery. It reminds us how even the ordinary carries its own beauty and history.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Anton Gartung, with a background in analog photography, uses black and white film and a 40mm lens. He develops a minimalist aesthetic by creatively addressing the given limitations and emphasizing flash for harsh contrasts and details. Evoking the loneliness in crowds, chaos alongside perfection, and light dancing with shadows, his work speaks emotionally in a lyrical, sometimes melancholic, sometimes humorous language.
