About this artwork
From the "The Other Side" series Bob Marley.
In this series, which I called "The other half", I paint all the characters who have left me something during my life. It is not so much a celebration of their person but more than anything else they represented for me. Bob Marley has marked my musical experience as a guitarist and singer. His music taught me what it means to feel part of something, to be respectful and tolerant, to experience the same… emotions in unison while playing reggae. His sense of brotherhood and humanity have freed the Jamaican people. That's why I represented other people in the other half of the figures / people trying to pull upwards.

Antonio Cotecchia is a promising Italian painter who has exhibited his works in Italy and Germany. With former experience as a digital art director, illustrator, graphic designer and freelance fashion designer, he combines influences from these various sectors to express a unique artistic language that offers a fusion of cubist, futurist, expressionist and pop references. Cotecchia takes additional inspiration from the street, with particular interest in street musicians and improvised painting alongside live performances.
