About this artwork
Lying on a water basin around which an urban park has developed, due to its location it is almost unusable, probably subsequent alterations of the surrounding area have made it lose its peculiarity. It starts from nothing and comes to nothing. With easy philosophy we could consider it an example of the human condition. The whole series is made with recycled materials, linen canvas on 3 mm thick plywood.

Antonio De Nardis is a painter and draftsman based in Italy whose works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally. He describes the only central theme marked in his works as being the "reality of things", filtered and shaped by the truth, as well as the reality of the countless states of consciousness and sensations. In essence, De Nardis' bold compositions portray reality as it does not appear.
