Piercing Light

The velocity of light through the void is an undeniable constant—a fundamental law of existence, like absolute zero. This limit unites the spectrum, from radio waves to X-rays, connecting galaxies to microcosms. More than a measurement, light is a luminous code that shapes our understanding of space, time, and life.
This photographic series builds on my earlier paintings, which examine the construction and deconstruction… of existence—everything, something, and nothing—as seen in works like The Construction of the Letter O and the Number Zero and Double Helix. By incorporating geometric signifiers and symbols from technical drawings within a non-representational framework, the work continues a search for meaning, structure, and perception.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5
