About this artwork
The collaborative project 200 Years 1000 Stories is a quest for spiritual and
poetic wonderment. The spaces I am interested in are minimal and convey an
energetic stillness, charged with serene activity; they are places within, yet away
from the incessant tumult of the city. This work hopes to embody refuge and
respite from the perpetual frenetic human experience, especially as one
experiences the city. Through minimal elements within the picture… plain, I
attempt to charge the 2 dimensional plain with a hum of vibrations – a universal
song we all know, which lingers within the walls of the interiors, or in the
external atmosphere implicitly and intangibly.
