About this artwork
San Marco Square and Doge's Palace seen from the sea with figures in the foreground and ships moored in the second, as represented in the only painting attributed to Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto, exhibited at the Uffizi Museum in Florence. In my work, I seek to capture the vibrant energy and elegance of life through animated scenes. Oil painting allows for a richness of color and texture, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in…
a cultural and historical journey. Each brushstroke is a celebration of movement and everyday life, a window into the grandeur of the past, promising to bring an atmosphere of reverie and nostalgia into your home.

« What's the point of trying to reinvent images when those around us are so beautiful, and all we have to do is reproduce them as faithfully as possible. »
Arnaud Feuga is an artist based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally and in the United States. With a background as a marine biology researcher, naturally, his favorite themes relate to the sea. However, Feuga also creates distinctive and realistic figurative compositions which include portraits and cinema-inspired pieces. He paints exclusively using oils on canvas.
